There is nothing more inspiring than watching someone reconnect with their inner child and embrace all the wonders life has to offer. This fall, join us for the YMCA Be A Kid Again ForeverWell Senior Adult Trip, where senior adults from around the Houston area will gather for a day of relaxation, fun and camaraderie at the scenic YMCA Camp Cullen in Trinity, Texas.
Rediscover the Joy of Play
Our Be A Kid Again annual trip is all about experiencing the pure, unfiltered joy of being a kid at camp – no matter your age! Picture yourself surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of a 500+ acre wooded property, enjoying the crisp autumn air and the great outdoors. Whether you’re crossing a zip line adventure off your bucket list, or simply unwinding in a rocking chair overlooking the lake, taking in the natural beauty around you, there’s something for everyone.
You’ll find yourself connecting with new friends, sharing laughter and building a sense of community that only the YMCA can offer. Many of our participants have told us they’ve never experienced camp before, and this is their chance to make those cherished memories!

- Dates: Wednesday, October 16 or Thursday, October 17 (date depends on your closest YMCA)
- Location: YMCA Camp Cullen, Trinity, Texas
- Open to: YMCA members and non-members – everyone is welcome!
What’s Included?
Your day will be filled with a variety of activities tailored to all levels of adventure, from action-packed fun to leisurely interests. The trip also includes:
- Continental breakfast
- Delicious hot lunch
- S’mores around the campfire
- Snacks for the bus ride home
- A special souvenir to remember the day
- Activities such as horseback riding and arena rides, canoeing, fishing, lawn and board games, arts/crafts, Stretch and Restore class, Low-Impact Dance class, hatchet throwing, zip lining, riflery and more!
