YMCA of Greater Houston Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

We are committed to creating safe and brave spaces for employees to feel wholly known, seen, and heard while empowering themselves and each other.

Below is the list of our ERGs:

African American Resource Network (AARN)

Provides career and personal development, networking, training and mentoring.

Asian & Pacific Islander Leadership Network (APILN)

Comprises of Asian and Pacific Islander staff and volunteers. This group shares information and resources through social activities and experiences for career development.

Christian Leadership Resource Network (CLRN)

Cultivates an encouraging and Christ-focused environment for Y staff to network, learn, and grow.

Connecting-Onboarding Resource Network (CORN)

Welcomes new staff and staff looking to connect with others while assimilating to our Y and Houston. Introduces further ERG options to staff.

Emerging Leaders Resource Network (ELRN)

Cultivates and prepares a diverse group of leaders to fill critical roles to ensure the sustainability and success of the Y movement.

Hispanic Latino Leadership Network (HLLN)

Serves as thought leaders on issues important to Hispanics and Latinos to nurture the next generation of Y leaders.

Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer Resource Network (LGBTQ)

A place where participants fully embrace the Y’s mission and advance their careers while ensuring all feel safe, welcomed, and valued.

Women’s Leadership Resource Network (WLRN)

Cultivates an environment that leverages the talents and addresses the unique needs of women while maximizing their career potential at the Y.
