We are excited that you will be joining us for a day at the Y! To best plan your visit we encourage you to view our member handbook as it shared helpful tips and guidelines to make your visit an exceptional experience. 

We are proud to offer flexible membership options for every person and family designed to help you live your safest and healthiest life. We offer a wide variety of membership options for adults, families, young adults and seniors and everyone will be able to find a membership type that is applicable to their household.
No – in order to make our memberships accessible to all and to remove barriers to joining, we do not charge a joining fee when you purchase a membership.
A contract is not required when you sign up as a member.

Your membership includes access to all of our YMCAs across the greater Houston area, advanced fitness equipment within our wellness centers and group exercise classes (both in person and on-demand). You will also find motivation, support and community connections at the Y. In addition to accessing all YMCA centers in Greater Houston and all the programs that you love, your membership gives you the power to help those in our community who need the Y most.

Serving the community is a large part of who we are. If cost is a barrier for you and/or your family, please speak to one of our membership representatives in the center about options available.

If cost is a barrier to you, please contact one of our membership representatives about options available. Beyond financial assistance, we also offer a Member Referral program and you can receive a month of membership dues on us for referring friends and family to the Y.

The YMCA of Greater Houston also has partnerships with Tivity Health, Optum Fitness, and ASH Fitness to accept their SilverSneakers, Renew Active, and Silver & Fit programs at the Y. Please check with your health insurance provider for eligibility.

A city-wide membership gives you access to all of the facilities located throughout the greater Houston area. YMCA members also enjoy nationwide access when traveling and can access the YMCA any time of day and on any device through our YMCA360 virtual programming.
