ABOUT THE LUNCHEON
Friday, November 15 • 11:30 am • Junior League of Houston
On Friday, November 15, the Trotter Family YMCA Luncheon to Celebrate Women of the Y honored Peggy Montana, a Houston community leader and dedicated YMCA volunteer. The Luncheon raised necessary funds to support programs that serve the youth and families of our community. Past honorees include the Tellepsen Family Women, Gretchen Berly, Peggy Ingram, Harriet Foster, Beth Shea, Judy Ley Allen and Audrey Moody Ley.
The Trotter Family YMCA has been committed to our community for over 50 years. We provide quality programs, available to everyone regardless of age, religion, or socio-economic background. No one is ever turned away at the YMCA. Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Our goal with the luncheon was to raise $110,000, which will provide funding to support children and families in their pursuit of academic achievement, chronic disease prevention, and swim safety as well as provide funding to support our efforts around social equity.
