The YMCA of Greater Houston’s teen summer camp is designed for young people aged 12–15 who are ready for a more challenging, leadership-focused camp experience. From adventure activities and community service to team-building and life skills, our teen camp gives older youth a meaningful and memorable summer

Teen Camp Program
Teen Camp is built around service learning, employable skills, goal-setting, and conflict resolution — all supported by caring adult mentors who guide teens through activities and discussions designed for this older age group, not a scaled-down kids’ camp.
Leaders In Training (LIT)
Looking for a summer leadership opportunity? Explore our six-week Leaders In Training (LIT) Program, a separate track for teens ages 13–15.

Teen Camp follows weekly themes throughout the summer and combines indoor and outdoor activities in a group setting at YMCA locations across the Houston area. Camp experiences may include STEM, creative and performing arts, water safety, team building, service learning, and mindfulness. Activities and weekly offerings may vary by YMCA location.
