Volunteers will be working at Ashford Santa Cruz to tackle several important projects to enhance the playground and soccer field:
- Refill the playground with new mulch
- Aerate and plant grass seed on the soccer field
- Sand and paint the soccer goals
- Replace the soccer goal nets
- Fill holes in the field with dirt
- Line the soccer field
- Pick up trash around the property

Volunteers come together to build garden beds, plant flowers and vegetables and create a space for connection and community. 25 volunteers needed.

Renewing Community Spirit is an initiative aimed at revitalizing the Vic Coppinger Family YMCA building and property. This project will focus on enhancing community spaces through a series of meaningful updates. Key activities include:
- Cleaning up the walking track to promote fitness and accessibility
- Replanting a dedication garden to honor community values
- Refurbishing the gaga pit for engaging recreational play
- Revitalizing the archery range to encourage skill development
- Maintaining the fields for various sports and activities.
Together, these efforts will create a vibrant and inviting environment that embodies the spirit of service and unity inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
