Since 1981, the T.W. Davis Family YMCA has served as a cornerstone of the Fort Bend County community, bringing people of all ages together to grow stronger, build relationships, and find belonging.
As our community continues to grow, demand for programs and space has exceeded the capacity of our current facility. In response, the T.W. Davis Family YMCA has launched a capital campaign, beginning with a $16.6 million Phase 1. This will allow the YMCA to strengthen and enhance our campus so we can continue serving families for generations to come.
Our Campaign
The T.W. Davis Family YMCA has launched a $21.68 million capital campaign to strengthen and reimagine this long standing community resource in Fort Bend County. The campaign will be implemented in phases, beginning with Phase 1, a $16.6 million investment focused on building a strong foundation for the YMCA’s future.
Phase 1 will enhance key spaces that support youth development, healthy living, and community connection, ensuring the T.W. Davis Family YMCA can continue serving families for generations to come.
Improvements in Phase 1 will include:
- Welcoming Lobby & Community Gathering Space – A modern, inviting entrance designed to foster connection and create a welcoming experience for members and visitors.
- Full-Size Gymnasium – A versatile space supporting youth sports, recreational play, and community activities.
- Wellness & Group Exercise Studios – Dedicated studios for fitness classes, wellness programming, and activities that promote healthy living for all ages.
- Youth Program Areas – Purpose-built spaces designed to support youth development programs, after-school activities, and leadership opportunities.
- Modern Locker Rooms – Updated locker and changing areas designed for comfort, accessibility, and convenience.
- Outdoor Gathering Areas – Outdoor spaces that encourage activity, connection, and community engagement.
Additional phases of the campaign will further expand amenities and program capacity, ensuring the T.W. Davis Family YMCA continues to meet the evolving needs of Fort Bend County.
