Your trial membership begins when you sign-up in February and is valid for two weeks from the day of activation. Once your trial membership ends, you can continue receiving member benefits by activating one of a variety of Facility Membership options that best fits your needs.
The maximum number of people that can be on your membership is determined by the number that reside in your household. We are proud to offer flexible membership options for every person and family designed to help you live your safest and healthiest life. We offer a wide variety of membership options for adults, families, young adults and seniors and everyone will be able to find a membership type that is applicable to their household.
No – in order to make our memberships accessible to all and to remove barriers to joining, we do not charge a joining fee when you purchase a membership.
No – you are not signing a contract when you sign up as a member. While we would hate to see you go, you can cancel your membership at any time. We also offer a 30-day money back guarantee if you decide that a YMCA membership was not the right fit for you.
Your membership includes access to all YMCA locations across the greater Houston area, advanced fitness equipment within our wellness centers and group exercise classes (both in person and on-demand). You will also find motivation, support and community connections at the Y. In addition to accessing all YMCA centers in Greater Houston and all the programs that you love, your membership gives you the power to help those in our community who need the Y most.

Beyond financial assistance, we also offer a Member Referral program that will give you a month of membership dues on us for referring friends and family to the Y. We also have partnerships with many corporate and school district partners. Check with your human resources department for more information or contact us directly.

Your facility Y membership also includes Nationwide access to hundreds of YMCA locations across the country.
